About Penelope Swayzee

My passion for writing started when I was ten years old, creating my own books out of notebook and construction paper. I didn’t begin to take my craft serious until 2015 when I released my first novel. Known for my Nobody Like You series, I write stories that are not only enthralling and intoxicating from the first page, but so real you’ll feel like you’re a part of the story. My novels transport you into a vividly imagined world, making you laugh, cry and feel every other emotion within each chapter.

In 2024, I was nominee for the Best Author in the Kansas City’s People Choice Awards, and I’ve recently become a full-time published author with plans to have a solidified and thriving career. My ultimate goal is to one day make it to the New York Times and USA Today Bestsellers list, in the near future.

To be transparent, being an author is not always easy, but hearing from readers who love your work, no matter how long it’s been since your last installment, is motivating. That’s what makes me push harder to keep writing. I’m truly grateful to have this wonderful career doing what I love.
